Purple passion fruit originated from southern Brazil, Paraguay, and Northern Argentina.
Wheatgrass juice is rich in chlorophyll; roughly 70% chlorophyll. Chlorophyll has a molecular structure almost identical to the hemoglobin molecule of human blood. The chlorophyll in wheatgrass juice helps the blood carry oxygen to all the cells.
Once picked, passion fruit can last 2 to 3 weeks. Passion fruit seeds are edible and they are an excellent source of fiber.
Chlorophyll cleanses the liver, tissues and cells, and purifies the blood. Wheatgrass juice helps remove toxic heavy metals such as lead, mercury, aluminum, that have become stored in the tissues of the body. Wheatgrass juice aids in detoxification by breaking up impacted matter in the colon.
In STAR TREK: Enterprise, Captain Jonathan Archer and his senior staff often drink iced tea flavored with passion fruit.
